I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. I received my bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and my Graduate degree from the University of Houston, both in Clinical Psychology and am currently working on my Doctorate in Psychology. Together with my husband of over 25 years, Tom Stevens, I live in Cypress, Texas and am a mom to 2 boys ages 21 and 18 and Hope our dog.
I work primarily with women and children. I have a special interest and extensive training in working with children, adolescents and adults that are experiencing grief, loss and trauma issues. My specialization in play therapy allows me to work with children as young as 2 years of age. I strive to create a safe, supportive, therapeutic atmosphere to help my clients make positive changes for themselves. I look forward to meeting you.
