I am a psychologist, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. I received my bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and my Graduate degree from the University of Houston, both in Clinical Psychology and my Doctorate in Psychology from California Southern University. I use EMDR and Sand Tray therapy as a trauma-informed clinician and work with clients through an attachment-based lens. I live in Cypress, Texas with my husband of 26 years (Tom) and am a mom to 2 boys ages 24 and 21. I love movement and practice yoga daily, love hiking, gardening, baking and all kinds of live music.
I work primarily with women and children. I have a special interest and extensive training in working with children, adolescents and adults that are experiencing grief, loss and trauma issues. My specialization in play therapy allows me to work with children as young as 2 years of age. I strive to create a safe, supportive, therapeutic atmosphere to help my clients make positive changes for themselves. I look forward to meeting you.
“Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John 13:35
